Finding the Perfect Name

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."

The famous line from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet reads great in the play, but not so much in real life. Try quoting that little verse to a couple delibrating over names and you might get slugged.  It's a stressful decision for most couples.  Hours are spent trying to figure out if kids could easily twist the potential name into a cruel, taunting chant.  Many want a name that not every other kid in the class will have.

I hear this struggle a lot with my clients so, at one time, I did a little research and found this great site.  It's actualy the Social Security Administration's site and it is so much fun.  You can look up the most popular names by year.  You can see the most popular names today.  You can even find the most popular names in your state.  I will go ahead and spoil the surprise and tell you that it's Jose and Emily in Texas.

Below is the link to the site...enjoy!
