Designed for Family: The Parents
As caregivers living on limited sleep, parents should have a comforting retreat that calms them as they care for baby. No parent should ever dread entering their nursery at three in the morning because it's a reminder that they didn't finish the room or that the room really isn't what they would have chosen.
To some, it may seem vain. But, at Peeakboo, we believe that the energy of our surroundings have a direct affect on our personal energy. A cluttered and unfinished nursery will most likely cause an already stressed out person to feel even more stressed. An organized and tranquil space will either neutralize or calm their stress. The baby feeds off of the energy of the parents more so than they do a Dora or Thomas themed room. Trust us, these characters will make their way into your home soon enough!
Designed for Family: The Whole Family
Creating a space for the entire family is another important part of the Peekaboo design process. Whether it be our signature floor pillows for lounging, books placed especially for big bro or sis to read to baby, or walls adorned with the sibling's art work, we strive to create a space that will sure to be the favorite hang-out as the family spends time with baby.
Functional for Baby
Once we've created a comfy, cozy space for the family, then we focus on baby!
After years of working only on baby nurseries and with parents, we've learned what's really needed when assembling a nursery. We've got must-haves and tricks to help parents care for baby with greater ease. Much of this lies in the functionality of not only the nursery, but also in preparing other spaces where you'll be caring for baby.
Our Knack
Many times, we're faced with couples who have very different ideas of what their nursery should look like. This can bring the design process to a screeching hault. Enter Peekaboo.
